  Moment in time                  

I'm going across the water that is filled with rubbish.  

I’m on my stand-up paddle board in the bay with water

that looks as grey and old as a rotten apple core.

I am holding my selfie stick so I can take photos.

My clothes are ripped and look like they have been clawed by a lion. The water smells as bad as smelly

cheese, and I am trying not to smell the water.

I do not want to fall into the water because there is lots of rubbish, and it looks so bad that I don’t want to smell like dead fish for two months.

There is rubbish like books, dead fish, plastic, wood, paper, food wrappers and the rubbish is making the water bad.
